Every Brand Has A Story To Tell
Savage & Wiser believes that all great brands are built upon a story.
A tale that defines who they are and who they serve. A legend that is forged each and every time they go above and beyond to serve their customers.
We want to be the ones to help tell that story.
We are a diverse collective of pixel pushers, copy jockeys, brand whisperers, emotion capturers, savage strategists, and sage project managers that live and breathe digital marketing.
Our tribe is led by two fearless women, Jami (Savage) & Jessica (Wiser), who built this company upon a set of principles that drives a relentless focus on one single objective: help more entrepreneurs and businesses tell their stories.
Unlike the niche agencies de jour, as a full-service digital marketing agency, we pride ourselves on being able to provide fluidity and cohesiveness when it comes to building and managing the entire brand identity of our clients.
Through all stages of design, production, and implementation, our team thrives on building a curated selection of marketing tools to help our clients connect with their audience, all while maintaining an authentic brand voice across all the channels we touch.
The end result?
Our clients get to tell the stories they were meant to tell. Reach those they seek to change, and achieve results they never thought possible.
The Collective

This sense of adventure and exploration is most evident on Jami’s blog – Adventure Awaits – which is one of the premier family travel blogs. Reaching hundreds of thousands of readers, this blog-turned-media company was no happy accident. No, it’s the result of the relentless dedication and finely-tuned marketing skills of its founder.
You see, in addition to her passion for adventure, Jami has an incredibly strong passion for marketing and brand development.
It all started when the school Jami’s children attended found itself in some troubling times. A concerned parent looking to do whatever she could to help, Jami began volunteering her time to help revitalize the school’s brand. Her work was so impactful that she was eventually hired as Vice Principal and – working alongside her now Co-Founder Jessica Wiser – facilitated an incredibly impressive brand turnaround.
News of Jami’s successful brand revitalization efforts spread fast, and soon enough she found herself consulting on all sorts of marketing projects for local businesses. She quickly learned that, while incredibly talented in a variety of disciplines, most of these entrepreneurs simply did not possess the time required to develop a robust understanding of digital marketing. So instead they leaned on Jami’s expertise, having her lead their web development, graphic design, marketing campaigns, social media, SEO and much more.
After driving strong results for her clients (and making them very happy in the process), Jami was hooked. She loved her daily engagement with entrepreneurs, and the thrill of helping them piece together just the right mix of marketing initiatives to drive positive new results for their business. It was a new, different style of adventure, but one she loved nonetheless.
Jami continued consulting for several years under her own digital marketing shop. In 2018, she began talking with her former colleague Jessica Wiser, who was also running her own shop at the time. The two waxed poetic about what could happen if they joined forces. If they could recreate their days from the impressive school turnaround, using their powers to help an even greater pool of entrepreneurs and small businesses succeed in the digital marketing landscape.
The rest, as they say, is history. Savage & Wiser was born.
Even with all the time she spends building their new agency, Jami is still incredibly passionate about spending time outdoors with her husband and two young children. Jami’s family can regularly be found enjoying all that British Columbia has to offer, including running, hiking, biking, wake boarding, snowboarding and much more. Many of these excursions are shared through Jami’s Adventures Awaits blog, helping families around the world learn how to better travel and enjoy the time they spend together.

For nearly a decade, Jessica served as the Director of Marketing for one of Canada’s largest hospitality chains, managing a diverse portfolio of several dozen properties, each with their own unique brand identity. In this role, she was responsible for building comprehensive marketing plans for each location, overseeing the branding, advertising and marketing materials, web presence, social media strategy, multimedia, customer review channels, and so much more. While incredibly challenging, Jessica’s ability to weigh both creative and business implications before making decisions allowed her to flourish, creating beloved brands in Canada’s restaurant and nightlife scene, and driving positive ROI for the entire hospitality group.
With such a diverse range of proven marketing skills, it wasn’t long before entrepreneurs came knocking on Jessica’s door. A bevy of brands sought her help in their own marketing activities, and before she knew it, Jessica was spending her spare time helping small businesses through her newly-created niche digital marketing agency: Socialwise.
After several years of building bar and restaurant brands by day and creating digital marketing campaigns for her clients by night, Jessica reached a crossroads. She loved her day job, but recognized that her true passion was helping entrepreneurs of all shapes and sizes tell their stories through innovative marketing campaigns. And so, Jessica decided it was time to go all in, and build a new full-service digital marketing agency.
To help make this dream a reality, Jessica turned to longtime friend and former colleague Jami Savage. Having worked with one another to execute a dramatic turnaround of a failing business over 10 years prior, the pair knew that when they came together, the end results exceeded the sum of their parts. With Jessica and Jami, 1+1 always seemed to equal 10.
It was the perfect match, sowing the seeds for what would become their new digital marketing agency: Savage & Wiser.
When she’s not building the agency, Jessica spends her time on other life passions, including caring for her family (which includes a young daughter, 4 rescue dogs, and 10 farm ducks), working with various B Corps, and doing her part to make sure she leaves the world a little bit better than she found it.

Outside of the office, Erin is a loyal Spark Leader, a crafty mom, and a very engaged community volunteer.

With hundreds of clients to his name, Brendan joins the Savage & Wiser team as our digital “Swiss Army Knife,” ensuring that whatever technical client needs arise, we have him standing by ready to take on the task.

If you’re going to trust just one person to help your business share its story with the world, you’d be well-advised to pick Cara.
